2020 Livestock Tagging/Ownership Requirements for Cowley County 4-H
All market beef must be weighed and tagged at the official weigh-in day Sunday, March 1, 2020.
Registered Breeding Beef:
All registered breeding heifers must be registered in the 4-H members name by May 1, 2020.
Commercial Breeding Beef:
All commercial breeding heifers must be nominated using the Cowley County 4-H Livestock Identification Form by May 1, 2020. Heifers who were previously tagged at the county weigh-in day do not need to complete the Livestock Identification Form.
Sheep, Meat Goats, Swine and Bucket Calves:
Must be nominated using the Cowley County 4-H Livestock Identification Form by May 1, 2020 and a video uploaded to the private Facebook group for the specie.

Dairy Goats must be owned or leased by May 1, 2020. Complete the Dairy Goat Lease and Identification Form and turn in to the Cowley County Extension Office.
Complete 4-H Grade Dairy Cattle and Leasing Form by June 15, 2020.
Complete and email (firstname.lastname@example.org) the Horse ID Certificate to the Cowley County Extension Office by May 1, 2020. You MUST include pictures on the emailed form.
