Friends of Cowley County Extension

Friends of Cowley County Extension is a volunteer group who raises awareness and funds for educational and engagement programs of K-State Extension Cowley County.

The Annual "Fall for Extension" event is typically held the Saturday before Thanksgiving featuring a sit-down dinner (prime rib, chicken), live and silent auctions and a raffle drawing. View the past programs and auction catalogs below:

Friends of Cowley County Extension Bylaws, Approved 2018

Friends of Cowley County Extension is open to all. Active members will be those individuals who contribute time, talent and/or treasure for the benefit of Cowley County Extension educational programs as evidenced by annual educational program participation, volunteerism or other engagement.

The annual meeting was held February 10, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. at the Cowley County Courthouse, Extension Assembly Room.

Endowment Fund

Consider a financial gift to "Friends of Cowley County Extension" endowment fund to support the future of research-based education for our community.

Contributions can be made payable to Legacy Regional Community Foundation and mailed to PO Box 713, Winfield KS. 67156 with "Friends of Cowley County Extension" in the memo line.
